The Bulldog Clamp is used to assist in the picking up of tubing in the service rig sector. The Bulldog Clamp, in one motion, clamps on and locks (using an automatic positive locking system). The Bulldog Clamp will not slip on or mark tubing while, with the aid of the rig's tugger line, lifts the joint up and forward into the rig's elevators.
